About

I graduated at Dentistry from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1995), holding a MSc at Dental Public Health from University College London (1998), and a PhD in Epidemiology from Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (with Sandwich period at the Center for Health Equity Studies - Stockholm) (2009).

I am a professor at Faculty of Dentistry-UFRGS with experience in Social Epidemiology, acting on the following subjects: income inequality, trends in socioeconomic disparities, systematic reviews of observational studies, and evaluations of health care services.

I am currently interested in Structual Equations and discrimination effects on health, as well as income inequality.
